The latest issue of the Mobile Broadband Tariff Tracker now features post and prepaid prices for 93 operators in 33 countries.

Key changes identified include:

Introduction of prepaid offerings (see editorial), latest survey reveals details of 157 operators in the 74 countries
Different term of contracts starting with 30 days up to 24/36 months. Typically, the higher committed to contract attracts a lower monthly price. Refer to the UK
A user can now select if they want to pay extra once the allowance has been reached or opt for a downgraded speed.
More inclusive allowance

Plenty of promotions are offered, these are not covered in our survey, some examples include.

Mobistar/Belgium

Mobistar offers for the first 6 months of a 12-months contract to Mail and Surf a significant discount i.e. Euro 12 instead of Euro 18 per month.

Vodafone/Ireland

Vodafone offers a prepay 360 bundle for its prepay customers at Euro 12.09 per month including 100 MB, however a subscriber needs to top up with Euro 20 in one month to benefit from this bundle otherwise the bundle is Euro 20. The promotion runs out at the end of January 2010.

Bite/Lithuania

Bite in Lithuania offers its Start-up product including 800 MB for LMT 1.99 per month instead of LMT 6.00, this is based on a 12-month contract and the offer is running until 17^th January 2009.
