In SnapShot 76, TCL considers the developments of roaming services, it is a follow up to the previous SnapShots on Mobile Roaming, (SnapShot 19, completed in September 2013, SnapShot 36, completed in August 2014 and SnapShot 57 (completed in June 2015).
In this SnapShot, TCL examines the changes in mobile roaming pricing taking place for MNOs within Europe, following the recent introduction of the EC’s latest roaming cap pricing initiative, and also the changes in roaming pricing in other areas of the world, including Asia, the Middle East and North America. Roaming pricing continues to evolve, with the key change being the introduction of roaming as part of a premium bundle and the focus on mobile data roaming for smartphone devices with larger allowances.
